Matthew Strang, MOTR/L, CHT
Owner, Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist
Matt moved to Arizona from Michigan in 2008 after completing his Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University. He began working immediately in a hand therapy clinic working towards obtaining his specialty as a Certified Hand Therapist. In 2012 Matt and his wife Michelle decided to open Total Arm Rehab, a family owned therapy clinic specializing in outpatient rehabilitation for the upper extremity. In 2013 Matt completed his Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and continued to grow the practice throughout the East Valley. (Click here to learn why its important to see a CHT even when others say they work on hands.)
In 2018, with the practice growing and seeing the need to expand the family business to offer additional services, Total Arm Rehab became Total Body Rehab offering physical therapy services to active adults throughout our community. As the practice continues to grow, Matt and Michelle continue to strive to not only focus on patient outcomes like every other therapy company does, but also on providing an excellent customer experience that make our patients recommend us to their family and friends.
In Matt’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, trips to the family cabin up north, and all things sports!!!
